Screening runs on tokens. A new account gets a batch free — no card — so you can put a real stack through it before spending anything.

Every resume you upload stays yours. We never show it to anyone else.

How it works

Four steps, and the first pass is done

Write the job description once

Paste it in your own words — the real one you would send to a candidate. Every resume you upload is scored against it, so it is worth being specific about what actually matters.

Upload the resumes

Up to 60 files at a time, 5MB each, as PDF, DOC or TXT. Drop the whole folder in — there is no need to rename or sort anything first.

Choose how closely to look

A stronger model reads more carefully and costs more tokens. The cheap one is the default and handles most roles; save the expensive one for senior or unusual hires.

Read the shortlist

Results come back sorted by score while the rest are still running. You can start reading the top of the pile before the bottom has finished.

What comes back

Enough to know who to call first

Every resume comes back with the same three things, so candidates are comparable rather than just summarised one by one.

A score out of 100

One number per candidate, on the same scale for everybody, so the pile sorts itself. Anything that does not look like a resume scores zero rather than guessing.

Strengths and gaps, named

Not a summary of the CV — the specific things that match your requirements and the specific things missing. That is what makes a phone screen useful.

A hire or no-hire call

Short, direct, and tied to the job description rather than to a general impression. You can disagree with it, but you can see what it was based on.

What a pack buys

How many resumes each pack screens

Tokens are the only thing you buy, and they work on every tool here. This is what they turn into on this one — pick a model down the side, read across to the pack.

Questions

Before you upload a pile

Is this AI resume screening tool free?

It is free to get started, which is not the same as free. Screening calls a paid AI model, so it runs on tokens — and you get a batch of tokens free when you make an account, with no card needed. That is enough to put a real stack of resumes through it before you decide to spend anything. After that you buy a pack of tokens once; there is no monthly fee.

How many resumes can I screen at once?

Up to 60 files per upload, 5MB each, in PDF, DOC or TXT. You can upload again as many times as you like against the same job description, so a larger pile just means a few batches.

How accurate is AI resume screening?

It is reliable at what it is asked to do: read a resume against a job description and say how well they line up. It is good at spotting missing requirements and ordering a pile. It cannot tell you whether somebody is good to work with, how they handle pressure, or whether they would stay. Treat the score as the order to read the pile in, not the decision.

Does this replace a recruiter?

No, and it is not trying to. It removes the first pass — the hour spent working out which twelve of sixty resumes are worth reading properly. The judgement calls after that are still yours.

What about bias in AI screening?

Any model can carry bias from what it was trained on, and a resume contains names, schools and addresses that have nothing to do with whether somebody can do the job. We ask the model to score strictly against your job description and to say what it based each score on, which at least makes a bad call visible. Read the reasoning, not just the number, and never let a score be the only thing that rejects somebody.

Is candidate data kept private?

Yes. Resumes you upload are yours: they are never shown to other users, never sold, and you can delete any of them at any time. If you are screening on behalf of a client, that matters — so it is worth saying plainly.

Can I use my own OpenAI API key?

Yes. If you add your own key in your profile, screening runs on it directly and uses no tokens from your balance. You pay OpenAI instead of us.

Still deciding? The token counter is genuinely free, no sign-up — see /ai-tools.

See what we build

What we actually do

This tool is the small version. We build the whole thing.

The resume screener does one job, for free, for anyone. Our actual work is building AI systems that run inside a business — the automations, the internal tools your team uses every day, and the parts that talk to the software you already have.

Not sure what is worth automating?

Write one paragraph about your business. We read it, ask a few questions, and show you which work a computer can do for you — and which work it should not touch. Free, and there is nothing to install.

Already know what you want built?

Tell us in one line. We will say whether we can build it, what it would take, and we say no if it is not a fit.

One or two lines is plenty.

Only if a message is easier for you than an email.
