The resume screener and the content generator do call paid AI models, so they run on tokens. You get a batch of tokens free when you make an account, which is enough to try them properly, and after that you buy more.
Not quite, and we would rather say so plainly: they are free to get started, which is not the same as free. Nothing is charged until your free tokens run out, there is no card needed to begin, and no trial that quietly turns into a subscription. When you do run out you buy a pack of tokens once — there is no monthly fee. The token counter is the only one that is free outright, because it runs no paid AI model.

Tokens are one shared balance across every tool that needs them. Buy once and spend them anywhere — there is no separate subscription per tool. On some tools, yes. Where there is a choice you will see it before you start, with what each option costs. A stronger model reads more carefully and costs more tokens; the cheapest option is always the default, so you never pay more by accident.
